Story

Chapter 9 · One Line
Winter, Railway Year 89. A month after the Harvest Train reached the north, the continent's railways are about to join into one line for the first time — from the Steel Basin in the north, across the southern Plains, all the way to the sea.
Three days before the first Crossing Train was due to leave, strange sails appeared off Lighthouse Cape.

The Strange Sails Return
It is the Orben Expedition that withdrew from the Junction years ago. They have come back after seeing the continent's new railways. Take just one harbour, and they could ride the rails from across the sea into the very heart of the continent.
Their marines have seized Lighthouse Cape, the Rail Yard and Gull Pass Tunnel. Offshore, the fleet shells the coast every turn.

Crossing Train
Reconnect the broken track from the Base to Gull Pass Tunnel with “Repair Track”. If Kaya's Rebuilding Corps is beside you, it costs no materials.
Every turn the line is unbroken, the Crossing Train goes over the pass; 3 times wins. Retaking Lighthouse Cape also wins. Hold the Sealrock Watchtower to stop the naval bombardment.
New rules in this chapter
- 🚂Crossing Train — Every turn the line runs unbroken from the Base to Gull Pass Tunnel, the Crossing Train goes over the pass. Three times wins. Retaking Lighthouse Cape also wins.
- ⚓Naval Bombardment — Every turn, the Orben fleet offshore shells one friendly coastal region (unit strength −7; if empty, the track is bent).
- 🗼Sealrock Watchtower — Hold the watchtower and you'll know when the fleet will fire, so the shelling stops. The marines outside the Cape wear down in the continental winter, losing morale every turn.
